In his 50 plus years, A-10 has been a cowboy, potash miner, trucker,professional student and school teacher.

His work has been featured on CD covers, holiday cards and numerous publications including the New Mexico Magazine. He has also illustrated several books for popular cowboy authors, Carl Brummett and Texas Bill Bender.

In 1998, A-10 was voted Cowboy Cartoonist of the Year by the Academy of Western Artists and in 2000, he won a gold medal for one of his meticulously created black and white cartoons at the CCI Annual Rendezvous in Sandpoint, Idaho
